Nitrous Oxide Analgesia

Our office is please to provide anxious children and highly anxious adults Nitrous Oxide in connection with their care.  Many dental patients find this inhalation medication to be useful in lowering anxiety.  Please consult with our doctor should you desire this for your visit or your child's visit.

Patients requesting nitrous oxide should make it clearly known when your appointment for treatment is made so that we can assure the operatory is set up for it when you arrive.

Patients treatment planned for nitrous oxide should not eat for at least 8 hour prior to administration, as some individuals experience nausea when a full stomach accompanies this medication.

We offer this medication only after consultation and a need for it is determined by our doctor.
